A Lovely Shoulder Wrap

 

 

 

I wanted to make my mother-in-law something special for her birthday.  I also knew I wanted to use/show off my newly aquired knitting skills :).  So when I saw this wrap pattern on Fiber Flux I knew I had to make it.  It is a running joke in my husband’s family that his mom is always cold.  What better gift to give her than the gift of warmth!  If you would like to make this wrap…

Here’s what you need…

2 skeins of yarn of choice (the original called for Lion brand Homespun)

US 15 size needles

tapestry needle

Heres what you do…

CO 36 sts

Row 1: Knit

Row 2: Knit

Row 3: Knit

Row 4: Knit

Row 5: K2, *yo, k2tog; rpt from * to last 2 sts; K2

Rpt rows 1-5 until about 46” from beginning ( mine ended at 205 rows)

Knit 4 more rows

BO

Break yarn and weave in ends.
